Forklift Operator Training is a popular option for many companies.
Our pre-training process for onsite operator training includes:
- Completion of a training survey to determine what topics apply to your site and forklifts.
- Discussion of topics which you feel are critical and identification of areas where you need safety improvement.
- A walk through of your site to make suggestions for improving forklift safety and OSHA compliance.
- Take pictures of your forklifts, so that our program becomes YOUR custom program.
Our classroom sessions vary in length from four to six hours, depending on your forklift types and application. The classroom portion is followed by hands-on evaluations. Evaluations last one to several hours for the group, depending on class size and the number of forklift types on which to be tested. Our forklift hands-on evaluations are always conducted at your site and on your forklifts, which is required by OSHA. Many times, we have forklift operators in class who have been driving forklifts for decades. For example, its not uncommon to hear them comment this is the best safety training of any type they have EVER had.
Lots of companies conduct forklift operator training, very few have training that is capable of changing operators’ behaviors.
Our customers count us among their most reliable vendors. Based on quality of instruction, willingness to help improve safety at their site and the ability to manage each training project. Due to the current OSHA standards, we only offer forklift operator training for companies. We don’t offer forklift training to individuals outside of a company setting. OSHA requires site and equipment specific training and also requires all hands on evaluations to be conducted at the customer site, on their equipment. It is not possible for us to provide training for individuals looking to learn how to drive a forklift at this time.
